We are located just outside of Lincoln and right next to Pawnee Lake. Whether you are looking for a place with peace and quiet or a place to turn up the volume without worrying about neighbors; this is the perfect place for family and friends to get together. Wineries
Junto Winery is a short 8.6 miles to the West of us. Also check out James Arthur Vineyards, Capriolo Winery and Glacial Till Vineyard.
Pawnee Lake
There are 740 Acres of water on the lake for your enjoyment. All types of boats are welcome at Pawnee SRA. The lake offers three boat ramps and two docks.
Fishing
White Bass, walleye, largemouth bass, bluegill and two kinds of catfish among others, can all be found in Pawnee Lake.
Water Activities
A canoe and fishing kayak are included with your rental. Best times are sunrise & sunset. Pawnee Lake SRA has three swimming beaches. No lifeguards on duty.
Trails
Pawnee has 7.4 miles of trails suitable for hiking or horseback riding. There are 2,544 Acres of public land at Pawnee Lake State Recreation Area. Our property butts up to public land.
Shooting Range
Just a few hundred yards north of the end of our driveway is a trap/skeet range. Bring your own clays and guns. This range is unmanned and free for the public to use with a valid state park pass. There is a free archery range at NW side of the lake also.

"Hidden gem for sure! Outdoor space is as great as inside. Plenty of room and activities to do for kids but also an awesome space for the adults. We utilized the camper hook up as well - super convenient. They thought of everything!"

How do we check in?There is a keypad on the back door of the house. We change the code for every guest. We will send you the code the day of your check in.

What time is check-in / check-out?Check-in any time after 4:00 pm Check-out by 11:00 am

Can we have an early check in or late check out?If possible! We try to accommodate people as best we can. If there are guests coming after you or if other guests are checking out the day you come in then we may not be able to allow it.

Is the kitchen stocked?In the kitchen we have plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, a crock pot, an air-fryer, baking sheets, pizza pans, a mix of pots, pans, a variety of bowls, measuring cups, cutting boards, a toaster, your basic utensils and miscellaneos dishware. If you need something else specific let us know.

What kind of coffee setup do you have?We have a a Keurig single cup coffee maker there with a supply of K-cups included. We also have a large coffee maker if you want to make it by the pot along with filters and Folgers Classic Roast coffee.

Is there firewood at the house?We try to have firewood for all guests to use. If you plan on using a lot of firewood we request you bring some of your own also.

Do you allow pets on your property?We allow pets outside but not inside the house. If you need any special accommodations please let us know.

What do you have for a laundry setup?There is a washer and dryer there at the house you are welcome to use. We keep detergent and dryer sheets at the house as well.

Do you include toiletries?We keep bottles of shampoo and conditioner in both showers and hand soap by all of the sinks.

Is the house handicap accessible?Unfortunately, it is not. We considered adding ramps and such to the exterior doors but the bedroom doorways would need to be widened and too many things would need a major overhaul in order to make it wheelchair-friendly. Sorry for the inconvenience.

How do we transport the canoe or kayaks up to the lake?I have an extended hitch rack there at the house you are welcome to use. You would need a pickup to haul it in though. If I am around town I am glad to assist.

Can we just rent it for one night?We do have a two-night minimum for all stays. Cleaning the house in between guests takes a lot of effort and time. To make it worth our time we do require a two night minimum on all stays.

Do you offer discounts for long-term stays?Yes. We like to work with people. Especially in the 'off-season'. If the stay is longer term and it means less cleaning in-between guests then we are able to discount the rates. Last year we had three people rent with us for over 45 days each. Two renters were in town for work for an extended period of time and the third was a couple who had just retired and they were considering moving to Lincoln. They wanted to do a trial run here before they make the committment of moving.

What is your cancellation policy?Cancellations made one week in advance or more: Guests will be given a 100% refund. Cancellations made less than one week before the reservation: Guests will be given a 50% refund. Cancellations on same day of the check-in: Guests will not receive a refund. Unfortunately, this would be too late for us to book the property to anyone else. Thanks for your understanding.
